ELICOS Assistance is an English language management consultancy that services clients throughout Australia as well as those overseas colleges wishing to pursue National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) registration.
Colleen Green is the principle consultant and the founder of ELICOS Assistance. Colleen’s ELICOS career spans over 15 years. During that time, she has been employed as an English Language Instructor/ Teacher, Academic Manager and Foundation Year Coordinator in both the Middle East and Australia. Colleen brings on board a large amount of experience as she has been successfully employed in both the private and university sector. She has also worked in both the private and public hospital sector as well as owning a start-up ‘air conditioning business for 15 years – one that is still successfully open to this day.
Colleen holds internationally-recognised post-graduate qualifications in Education, specialising in Teaching of English to Other Speakers (TESOL). These include both a CELTA (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults) and a Master of Education (TESOL). She also holds a Master in Business Administration (International Business).

Colleen has direct experience in the preparation of audits as well as the registration of new colleges with the both Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS).
With a particular interest in Curriculum development, Colleen has designed a range of English language programs, including General, Academic and Business English and Exam Preparation Courses – IELTS, PTE and Cambridge Suite of Exams. She also has experience and preparing and delivering English for Special Purposes (ESP) courses, such as Medical English, Presentation Skills, Business Writing and Cross Cultural Communication Skills – just to name a few to international executives in the health, banking and resources (IT, mining, oil and gas) industries.
Colleen created and delivered a course in the Middle East on behalf of the University of Washington, Seattle outreach program. Entitled the BUSIP course – Business for International Professionals Certificate, it was designed to assist young Emiratis to gain the requirements to commence their own business. The course culminated in preparation of a business plan and a formal presentation. Many of the past alumni have since moved on to become successful business people in their own right.
